The top of lock has a diameter of 3/4". Assuming your gumball machine already has the lock housing in the lid. all u need to do is drop the lock in lock housing and turn key to start threading lock to the rod. All Locks are brand new and keyed alike to code #17001. Each purchase equals (2) locks and (2) keys.
